Super-Imani !

This is a cake for a little boy called Imani. He adores all things Superman, and hey ... with a name like that - SUPERiMANi was born !

His mum told me "It is important that I find the right person to bake the cake as my son has various food allergies and I need to know that the person baking the cake can take these into account. He is allergic to egg (but can eat items that contain completely cooked egg like baked items - though not in its pure form like in an omelet etc). He also cannot eat any form of nuts."

Consider it done !

Gabi's Birthday 2008

This cake was created for Gabi, my dearest god daughter.

She first asked a cake with  pirates playing football, but on the day we could not find her pirates, so... she and I decided to go for ladybirds instead ! The credit though must be given to Gabi, 3 years old and coming up with such an idea!

Bravo Gabi!

Ruth's baby shower

This cake was created for Ruth's baby shower at the American Internal Women's Club.

Ruth is part of our quilting group (where we are creating quilts to donate to premature babies born in geneva) and although she was heavily pregnant, she was so dedicated to the project that she was there until the last day !

When I was asked to make a cake, I was inspired by her dedication and wanted to give back something special ...
